About the city

Brno by population and area is the second largest city in the Czech Republic, the largest Moravian city, and the historical capital city of the Margraviate of Moravia.
Brno is the capital of judicial authority of the Czech Republic because it is the seat of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Administrative Court, and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office.

Brno is also one of the most import university cities of the Czech Republic and hosts 6 universities in his area. The biggest one is Masaryk University, with more then 30.000 students and the Fakulty of Informatics of this University hosts the DevConf.cz.
